    Michael Lacapa (1955-2005) was a beloved author, illustrator, storyteller and painter. Of Hopi-Tewa and White Mountain Apache descent, Michael lived in Taylor, AZ. He toured the Southwest to read from his many illustrated children's books and tell often humorous stories to school children.
